Joanna remembers,”The photo is of me in Bedford Hospital, UK, in about 1982. I was in isolation, even my parents had to wear masks to visit me, and I remember being very happy when these three guys appeared. I remember how Chewbacca’s fur felt under my fingers and being totally convinced they were the ‘real’ people. I’ve no idea if they were actual SW actors, probably not, given their costumes! I have a memory of knowing Luke, Leia and Han were in the children’s ward too, but I wasn’t allowed to be there. Somehow my parents were given a professional photo of the visit.
