Shawn tells us,”Wildwood, NJ… Summer, 1983-ish?? There was a Spaceship ride on the boardwalk that this particular year was Star Wars themed (I think I had just seen ROTJ in the theater). I remember walking into the ride, which basically just spun you around, to a lot of Stormtroopers and before the ride started Darth Vader stepped out to the center to address everyone on board. Wish I could remember what was said… I was just awestruck that they were there to begin with!”
